Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter July to September 2024 to implement the recommendation ‘Consideration is given to establishing a volume target expectation at a district level of increased internal delivery of planned care surgery within existing resources’ as part of Te Whatu Ora Planned Care Taskforce Reset and Restore Plan?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. As was said in Written Question reply 66529 (2024), volumes for expected delivery of planned care have been established.
