4079 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Finance: What was the total headcount as at 27 November 2023, for each of the Minister’s Departments, Ministries, and Agencies?

Hon Nicola Willis: Treasury had a Headcount of 668 (for 653.4 FTE) as of the 30th of November 2023. This number includes active permanent and fixed term employees, including employees seconded out of the Treasury. The number excludes people on long term leave and people seconded into the Treasury. Due to restrictions in our systems we are unable to provide a figure as of the 27th of November 2023. However, we can provide a figure as of the 30th of November 2023. RBNZ had a headcount of 585 as at 27 November 2023. This number includes all personnel, including active employees (permanent and fixed term), non-active employees (those on leave of absence).
