Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter July to September 2024 to implement the recommendation ‘Increase the use of telehealth for follow-up work that is necessary but where in-person contact is not essential’ as part of Te Whatu Ora Planned Care Taskforce Reset and Restore Plan?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. I am advised that districts and regions utilised Telehealth to deliver care.
