4050 (2025). Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister of Defence: Has she had any discussions with the Minister of Foreign Affairs regarding China’s engagement with affected Samoan communities following the sinking of HMNZS Manawanui?

Hon Judith Collins: The Minister of Foreign Affairs and I speak regularly on a broad range of international issues of mutual interest. I do not intend to disclose the details of those discussions as they are in- confidence conversations between Cabinet colleagues.
