4036 (2026). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Will the Mental Health Foundation deliver the All-of Population Suicide Prevention Community Fund, and make decisions on applications, or is there another organisation that will review applications; if so, what organisation?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that the Mental Health Foundation is administering the All-of-Population Suicide Prevention Community Fund. I am further advised that the Foundation has appointed an independent panel to assess and determine applications for funding. The panel brings together a range of expertise in suicide prevention and is constituted to reflect the priority populations and communities identified in the Suicide Prevention Action Plan 2025–2029.
