3983 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Finance: Does she agree with the Prime Minister’s statement “Yeah, but what families are going to be able to do is get up to $75 a week. And I think that's a really good thing. That is our government helping low and middle income families that actually have high ECE costs, actually helping them”, and if so, how many families will benefit from the full $75 a week?

Hon Nicola Willis: Yes. Officials estimate that around 21,000 families would receive the maximum payment, equivalent to $75 per week.
