3980 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Finance: Does she agree with the Prime Minister’s statement “It'll be as quickly as possible. IRD will make sure we operationalise that as quickly as possible to get the funds back into people's bank accounts each quarter”, and if so, what advice has she received, by title and date, on how long will it take from a reimbursement application being received by IRD till that reimbursement is received by the applicant?

Hon Nicola Willis: Yes. Inland Revenue are currently working through the operational details of implementing FamilyBoost. My expectation is clear, that funds will be reimbursed as quickly as possible.
