3947 (2026). Lan Pham to the Minister of Local Government: Which, if any, drinking water treatment plant operators faced enforcement action in response to any non-compliance with drinking water standards or rules in 2025, listed by name and location?

Hon Simon Watts: The Water Services Authority—Taumata Arowai undertook compliance actions for non-compliance with drinking water standards or rules on a number of occasions throughout 2025, issuing directions under section 104 of the Water Services Act 2021. However, no formal enforcement actions were undertaken in 2025.
