3944 (2026). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: What is the current increased operating cost associated with managing high security prisoners in low security accommodation?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Corrections does not specifically collate financial information around the increased operating cost associated with managing high security prisoners in low security accommodation. However, I am further advised that Corrections does not manage any high security prisoners in a low security unit. This is also my response to WPQ 3945 (2026).
