3943 (2026). Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Minister of Conservation: Why did the Minister decline the Department of Conservation’s recommendation to classify KAW_17 Mount Rochfort (Denniston Plateau) as a conservation park?

Hon Tama Potaka: I considered a wide range of relevant information when making my decision. This land will remain as stewardship land which is managed and protected under the Conservation Act 1987.
