3925 (2024). Steve Abel to the Associate Minister of Agriculture: On what date, if ever, will the amended proposed regulations on prolonged tethering of dogs and subgingival dental procedures in dogs and cats be put to Cabinet for Approval?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: Proposals for subgingival dental procedures in dogs and cats have been approved by Cabinet and are currently with the Parliamentary Counsel Office for drafting. I have received advice on options for progressing dog tethering regulations. I have requested further advice which I will consider in due course.
