3921 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: How many, if any, new Kāinga Ora homes have had nylon carpet installed since 1 July 2025 and how many, if any, had nylon carpet installed in 2024/25?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that this information is not held in a centralised or reportable format and retrieving it would require manual review of individual property files. This would involve significant staff time and cost for minimal public value and would divert resources from core service delivery priorities. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 3923 (2026).
