Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on matters relating to my Emergency Management and Recovery portfolio. I received the following documents from officials in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) between 3-7 February 2025: • Briefing: Nelson Tasman CDEM Group Plan 2025-2030, 5 February 2025 • 2025.02.07 Status Report to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, 7 February 2025. Jointly with the Prime Minister, I received one document from the functional Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery on 5 February 2025: • Cyclone Recovery Weekly Update on Categorisation, Buyouts, and Sediment Removal. Additionally, I received the following documents from officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet: • 2023/24 DPMC and NEMA Annual Review responses to the post-hearing questions, 3 February 2025 • March Baseline Update 2025: Emergency Management and Recovery Portfolio, 4 February 2025. I received one document on 5 February 2025. It is not in the public interest to release the title of this document. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from officials in NEMA and the DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
