3903 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: How many graduate positions, if any, were there in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, between November 2024 and November 2025?

Hon Scott Simpson: The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) had nine employees on the graduate programme over this period. As the FMA’s graduate programme runs for 18 months, this number reflects two intakes of graduates, with each cohort sitting at a differing stage in the programme.
