3873 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Associate Minister of Transport: In what circumstances would it be appropriate to charge for replying to Official Information Act requests made to their office, or agencies for which the Minister is responsible?

Hon James Meager: In situations where we are considering charging for reasons of complexity or substantial collation, we refer to the guidance published by the Office of the Ombudsman to establish if the circumstances are appropriate.
