3871 (2025). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Minister for National Security and Intelligence: What aides-mémoire, briefings, memos, notes, reports, or any other advice, if any, has the Minister or their Office received during the week beginning 3 February 2025, listed by agency, title and date received?
Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Minister for National Security and Intelligence, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters. In my capacity as the Minister for National Security and Intelligence, I received one document from my officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) within the specific time frame. It is not in the public interest to release the title of this document. Also, in my capacity as the Minister for National Security and Intelligence and Prime Minister, I received two documents within the specified timeframe, however, it is not in the public interest to release the title of these documents. Furthermore, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices. This information is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame.
