3843 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Prime Minister: How many graduate positions, if any, were there in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, between November 2024 and November 2025?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was a departmental agency hosted by DPMC to 24 September 2025 and is now hosted by the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA). I am advised that the requested information is held based on the financial year (1 July – 30 June). Outlined below are the number of individual graduates employed by DPMC and NEMA (up to 25 September 2025) for the respective financial years.
