3830 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress has been made in the last quarter (October to December 2023) to ‘Implement a National Cancer Control Network’ under Outcome 1: New Zealanders have a system that delivers consistent and modern cancer care, as part of the New Zealand Cancer Action Plan 2019 – 2029?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: This action was completed in July 2020. Te Aho o Te Kahu — Cancer Control Agency assumed the responsibilities of the National Cancer Control Network from its establishment and it incorporated the former regional cancer networks into the Te Aho o Te Kahu structure as regional hubs from July 2020.
