Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress has been made in the last quarter (October to December 2023) to ‘Partner with government, the health sector, academia and international experts to build collaborative and coordinated information’ under Outcome 1: New Zealanders have a system that delivers consistent and modern cancer care, as part of the New Zealand Cancer Action Plan 2019 – 2029?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that the Cancer Control Agency engages frequently with partners to build collaborative and coordinated information during the quarter. Regular cross Government sector meetings Chief Executive to Chief Executive are held. Furthermore, the Cancer Control Agency also has regular engagement with researchers from universities across the country.
