3810 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: Does vaping increase the risk of developing cancer?

Hon Casey Costello: There is currently a lack of causal evidence that vaping impacts on the risk of developing cancer. However, the Government acknowledges that vaping products are not risk-free, and non-smokers should not start. Vaping products are an important harm reduction tool to support adult smokers to quit.
