3798 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Transport: What are the total costs of staff redundancies, if any, in the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies - or for any other staff for whom the Minister is responsible - between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025?

Hon Chris Bishop: Between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025, the Ministry has made a total of $682,155.21 in redundancy payments. Between 27 November 2023 and 29 January 2025, NZTA has made a total of $4,796,196.78 in redundancy payments for 88 employees.
