3796 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Statistics: What are the total costs of staff redundancies, if any, in the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies - or for any other staff for whom the Minister is responsible - between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: Corrected reply: I am advised that the total amount paid to staff leaving Stats NZ via redundancy between 27 November 2023 and 31 December 2024 was $10,070,503. There were no payments related to redundancy made between 1 January and 7 February 2025.
