3774 (2024). Tamatha Paul to the Associate Minister of Housing: How many Kāinga Ora households, if any, were relocated by agreement in each month since January 2020 in order to move away from unruly neighbours?

Hon Tama Potaka: As Associate Minister of Housing (Social Housing), Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that there were 782 relocations by agreement. For each month, I refer the Member to the attached table provided by Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities. Kāinga Ora advises me that its reporting systems do not differentiate between Business Initiated Transfers where the tenant caused disruptive behaviour, and those that moved due to their neighbour’s behaviour. This is also my answer to WPQ 3775 (2024).
