3771 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Ethnic Communities: How many staff were made redundant, if any, in the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025, broken down by district, ethnicity, gender, and any other socioeconomic variable that is collected?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised by the Ministry for Ethnic Communities that 11 staff have been made redundant between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025. Five of these staff were in Auckland, one was in New Plymouth, three were in Wellington, and two were in Christchurch.
