3768 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Internal Affairs: How many graduate positions, if any, were there in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, between November 2024 and November 2025?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that there were 57 graduate positions at December 2024 and 22 graduate positions at November 2025. In relation to the three crown entities in my portfolio: The Classification Office does not have a graduation programme and as such had no graduate positions between the dates in question. Lotto NZ do not have graduate positions. Fire and Emergency had two graduate positions between 1 November 2024 and 30 November 2025.
