3740 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Police: Has the Minister or their staff had any discussions with any officials who planned to charge for replying to Official Information Act requests and if so, what advice, if any, did they provide those officials?

Hon Mark Mitchell: My office has had verbal discussions with Police officials around charging for replying to requests for official information. The Ombudsman advice relied upon is publicly available on their website.
