3735 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Attorney-General: How many staff were made redundant, if any, in the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025, broken down by district, ethnicity, gender, and any other socioeconomic variable that is collected?

Hon Judith Collins: There were five redundancies in Crown Law during this period, and two redundancies at the Parliamentary Counsel Office during this period. In consideration of the privacy of the individuals concerned, we are not able to break this down by district, ethnicity, gender and do not collect any other socioeconomic variables.
