3722 (2024). Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister of Health: As of 22 March, 2024, what direction, if any, has the Minister given to the Ministry of Health regarding job cuts in the Māori Health Directorate?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that matters associated with staffing at the Ministry are the responsibility of the Director-General of Health. The Ministry is proposing organisational change in order to meet its internal budget requirements for the next financial year.
