3721 (2024). Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister of Health: Of the proposed 180 job cuts announced on 21 March, 2024, can the Minister advise the ethnicity breakdown of these cuts?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that as of 25 March the Ministry has not yet finalised a change proposal or initiated a change process with its staff at this point. I understand from the Ministry it is not correct that 180 roles will be cut. The number of roles affected is still being identified. Once finalised, the Ministry will share this information with staff first as part of its consultation process with its employees.
