3694 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for National Security and Intelligence: What are the total costs of staff redundancies, if any, in the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies - or for any other staff for whom the Minister is responsible - between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as Minister for National Security and Intelligence I am not a Responsible Minister. In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the Responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by DPMC. I refer the member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 3732 (2024) provided in my capacity as the Prime Minister.
