3678 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Māori Development: How many staff were made redundant, if any, in the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025, broken down by district, ethnicity, gender, and any other socioeconomic variable that is collected?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025, 11 staff concluded their employment with Te Puni Kōkiri by way of redundancy. District: I refer the Member to my answers to written questions 41195 (2024), 41213 (2024), 40580 (2024), 41227 (2024), 41200 (2024), 40587 (2024) and 40582 (2024). In addition, one staff from Te Tai Tokerau, two staff from Ikaroa-Rāwhiti and 7 staff from Wellington (National Office). Ethnicity: I refer the Member to my answers to written questions 42499 (2024) and 42502 (2024). In addition, four staff identified as European. Gender: I refer the Member to my answer to written question 42479 (2024). In addition, two staff identifed as Male.
