3678 (2024). Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Minister for Disability Issues: Can the Minister confirm that the changes implemented by Whaikaha on 18th March 2024 upholds UNCRPD and Enabling Good Lives Principles?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I have been advised that Whaikaha - the Ministry of Disabled People takes its obligations under the UNCRPD and the EGL Principles extremely seriously. This is signified by the UNCRPD and the EGL Principles being foundational pillars for Whaikaha.
