3670 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Associate Minister of Health: In what circumstances would it be appropriate to charge for replying to Official Information Act requests made to their office, or agencies for which the Minister is responsible?

Hon David Seymour: I refer the Member to the charging guidelines for OIA requests, published by the Ministry of Justice, which are to be followed by agencies subject to the OIA. The Ombudsman has also released a charging guideline for official information under the OIA and LGOIMA.
