3667 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Housing: What are the total costs of staff redundancies, if any, in the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies - or for any other staff for whom the Minister is responsible - between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities advises me that the sum of redundancy payments between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025 is $14,008,897.03 I am advised that between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025, the total redundancy costs at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development were $2,281,293, and at Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities were $14,008,897.03.
