3656 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: In what circumstances would it be appropriate to charge for replying to Official Information Act requests made to their office, or agencies for which the Minister is responsible?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I am advised that my office, and the agencies I am responsible for, follow the guidance from the Ombudsman and the Ministry of Justice when making decisions relating to charging under the Official Information Act.
