3651 (2024). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister of Immigration: From 01 January 2023 to 21 March 2024, how many investigations of complaints of migrant exploitation, if any, have been completed?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that from 01 January 2023 to 21 March 2024, 275 investigations of complaints of migrant exploitation under section 351 of the Immigration Act 2009 have been completed. Other investigations may occur by Employment Services Labour Inspectorate, the responsible Minister is the Honourable Brooke van Velden for Workplace Relations and Safety.
