3617 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Corrections: How many staff were made redundant, if any, in the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025, broken down by district, ethnicity, gender, and any other socioeconomic variable that is collected?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that a change process for the High Impact Innovation Programme team was initiated last year with some of this team’s work being absorbed by the Ministry of Justice’s new Justice Sector Team, and a small number of roles within this team being transferred to other areas of Corrections. Staff whose roles have been disestablished are working through a comprehensive people process with a team of dedicated transition advisers supporting them to place them in alternative roles within the department. I am further advised that there have been no staff redundancies at Corrections between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025. This is also my response to WPQ 3629 (2025) and WPQ 3632 (2025).
