3596 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Agriculture: What are the total costs of staff redundancies, if any, in the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies - or for any other staff for whom the Minister is responsible - between 27 November 2023 and 7 February 2025?

Hon Todd McClay: I am advised that the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) paid a total of $4,635,374.49 for staff redundancies. All staff were permanent employees.
