3590 (2024). Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Minister for Disability Issues: On what date, if any, did she first request a pre-budget commitment of funding for Whaikaha to top up funding for disability support services?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I have been working with the Minister of Finance as part of the usual budget process to consider funding for disability support services. This includes consideration of additional funding for Whaikaha until the end of this financial year. I cannot provide details of funding pre-committed against Budget 2024 at this stage as that is Budget-sensitive.
