3566 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: What “expert advice”, if any, did the Minister and/or her Office receive related to data privacy from standardised testing, and how, if at all, has this been implemented?

Hon Erica Stanford: I have been advised by the Ministry of Education that data privacy is assessed as part of the work underway on assessment and aromatawai aligned to the Government’s Data Protection and Use Policy and within existing data protection policies.
