Hon Andrew Bayly: As part of the Government’s initiative to reduce public service spending, public sector departments have been asked to find options for a 7.5 per cent savings target. Options are currently subject to consideration as part of the Budget 2024 process. Further, decisions around staffing are operational and a matter for departments to work through.
