3505 (2025). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Associate Minister of Education: What is the total amount of school meals delivered by the School Lunch Collective, if any, since the start of Term One 2025, and how does this number compare to the amount of meals the School Lunch Collective was meant to deliver?

Hon David Seymour: Schools have a staggered start in Term 1, with their first day being any day between 27 January to 7 February 2025. I am advised by the Ministry of Education that over 604,000 meals were delivered in the first two weeks of Term 1 by the School Lunch Collective (the Collective). Once all schools have started the year, the Collective will deliver around 125,000 meals each day, based on student attendance numbers. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 3507 (2025).
