3452 (2024). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: What advice, reports, briefings, aides memoire, if any, has the Minister received about how to provide rehabilitation/reintegration programmes at predominantly remand sites?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I refer the member to the attached table, which provides a list of briefings and aides memoire received as at 21 March 2024, relating to changes to the Corrections Amendment Bill and providing rehabilitation and reintegration programmes to people on remand including to those who are remand convicted and their access to offence-based rehabilitation programmes. The titles of four entries have been withheld in accordance with Speakers’ Ruling 199/6. I also receive regular updates from my officials on a range of matters, including via regular meetings and my weekly report. This is also my response to WPQ 3454 (2024) and 3455 (2024).
