3428 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budget for the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that MoT budgeted $8,940 (excl GST) for the 2024/25 financial year. NZTA advises that it does not have a dedicated budget for the GNGP, however, approximately $635,000 from a mix of funding sources, including the NLTF and baseline funding has been allocated for GNGP related activities.
