3424 (2024). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for the Environment: Has the Minister delegated any authority for the administration of the Resource Management Act to Hon Hoggard?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I have delegated responsibility for farm-facing freshwater instruments to Hon Hoggard. This includes the timely and effective implementation of Freshwater Farm Plans under Part 9A of the RMA. However, myself and the Minister Responsible for RMA Reform retain responsibility for the formal exercise of any statutory functions or powers under the RMA relating to these matters.
