3422 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Has he considered increasing the 2.51% uplift for primary birthing services to prevent closures of rural maternity facilities, if not, why not?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. As the Member will be aware, decisions on funding levels are an operational matter for Health New Zealand.
