Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister of Health: What steps, if any, are being taken to ensure that in the event of an obstetric emergency, such as a maternal haemorrhage or a complicated delivery, there is a clear and safe plan for the timely transfer of women/pregnant people in the Whakatāne area to Tauranga Hospital, and how, if at all, will this plan be effective with the current staffing limitations?
