3392 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budget for the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year?

Hon Louise Upston: As Minister for Tourism and Hospitality, I have no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. With regard to Crown entities under the Tourism and Hospitality portfolio, I am advised that Tourism New Zealand does not have information for the carbon neutral government programme by calendar year. However, for the financial year 2025/26, I am advised Tourism New Zealand budgeted a total of $22,710.00 for the carbon neutral government programme.
