3356 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Revenue: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budget for the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year?

Hon Simon Watts: Officials advise Inland Revenue does not set budgets by calendar year. Instead, budgets are set on a financial-year basis. Inland Revenue allocated $40,000 to meet the requirements of the Carbon Neutral Government Programme in the 2024/25 financial year.
