3355 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Revenue: How much, if any, have the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted for the carbon neutral government programme for the 2026 calendar year?

Hon Simon Watts: Officials advise Inland Revenue does not set budgets by calendar year. Instead, budgets are set on a financial-year basis. Inland Revenue has allocated $40,000 to meet the requirements of the Carbon Neutral Government Programme in the 2025/26 financial year.
